Description
Another steampunk piece.
Since there is an opportunity right now to pick up the newest versions of either Daz 4 Pro or Poser Pro 2012 in the next couple of weeks for about the same price, I have been hemming and hawing the last few days trying to decide which to get. I am familiar with Daz, but my favorite vendors all work in Poser. I knew I needed to try Poser myself, so I downloaded the trial version of 8 and played around in it last night. This is my one of my Poser renders.
I have to say, once I figured out how to do the basics, I like Poser better. The camera moves much easier and the lighting controls are set up much more logically. It renders faster, too. I think I'll get Poser Pro and keep the free version of Daz in case I want to play around with Genesis.
Rendered in Poser 8 with DM's Inertia set and lighting with Orion1167's Steampunk Lady Blaze outfit and outoftouch's Coruscate textures. Gun light glows done in Photoshop CS2.
