Milky Way

Wow...I just realized it's been well over a year since I have done any digital painting/coloring - I've forgotten how much I loved it!

Even though I've spent the last year doing photo-manips and not painting, I found that so much of what I learned on my manip journey helped here, especially my comfort level with layer blending modes, the image adjustment menus and my experience with making textures.

Created in Photoshop CS5/2 - took about 16 hours. The hair! o_O I finally had to say "stop!" because I could futz with the hair forever!
